Doing kingdom work together
Since the birth of the Christian church in the first century, spiritual growth has always been a communal project. The New Testament is loudly clear that the Christian is not a lone-ranger. Rather, Christians have historically gathered to confess their shared allegiance to Jesus Christ; to encourage one another towards love and good works; and to exhort one another so that none may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin (Heb. 10:24-25; Heb. 3:13). Such fellowship was guided by a shared commitment to the Scriptures and was seasoned in communal prayer (Acts 2:42).
In addition to gathering for our Sunday worship experience, we encourage all our members to join a Community Group where they can experience deeper spiritual growth. These groups create opportunities that encourage us to live in relationship with one another and with Christ.
Though our community groups are intentionally diverse, some are designed to meet specific needs based on age or gender. As such, each member will find a fitting Community Group to plug in at CCR.
Besides Community Groups, we also offer a weekly Bible Class designed to equip and train CCR members who are currently serving or are seeking to serve in various capacities at CCR and beyond. We believe that by raising and equipping these Spiritual Leaders, we are investing in the kingdom of God here at CCR and beyond. Anyone interested in growing in the knowledge of of the word of God is welcome.
If you want to embark on this journey of Spiritual Growth with us, please join a Community Group or the Bible Class. You can find all the information here!
